Position Overview:
BBRT is seeking a results-driven Fundraising Coordinator to lead our efforts in generating financial support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping veterans, a proven track record in fundraising or sales, and the ability to create meaningful relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners. This role includes a competitive base salary with performance-based bonuses tied to achievable fundraising goals, in full compliance with West Virginia and federal nonprofit regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet BBRT’s financial goals.
• Cultivate relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and foundations.
• Plan and coordinate successful fundraising events and campaigns.
• Write and submit grant proposals to secure additional funding streams.
• Manage donor records using BBRT’s donor management system.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote fundraising initiatives.
• Regularly report progress and results to BBRT leadership.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Proven success in fundraising, sales, or nonprofit development (minimum 2 years preferred).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with donor management software and CRM platforms.
• A passion for BBRT’s mission and a commitment to supporting veterans.
Compensation:
• Base Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
• Performance-Based Bonuses: Tied to meeting specific fundraising goals (e.g., total funds raised, sponsorships secured). All compensation structures comply with West Virginia state laws and nonprofit ethical standards.
