Since November 10, 1775, when the Marine Corps was born in Tun Tavern, Marines have answered the call across the globe—from the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli, and from the jungles of Vietnam to the mountains of Afghanistan. Through each battle and every mission, they have held their heads high, united by a deep and unbreakable brotherhood. The honor, courage, and commitment that define the Marine Corps continue to inspire generations of Americans.
