Veteran suicide affects all of us. Our nation’s veterans fought for our country, and when they return, we must be there to fight for them.
Unfortunately, 78,875 veterans have taken their own lives from 2005-2017. That’s more than all the veterans who died in the last 30 years of war—an average of 17 veterans per day in 2019.
It doesn’t need to be this way. The stigma of suicide must be addressed, and Battle Buddy Response Team is here to help.
Battle Buddy Response Team is an National 501(c)(3) Charity created to fill the void—whether it be homelessness, social connections, health, or overall well-being. These are the building blocks that veterans need in order to move forward.
Taking Care of Veterans and Their Families.
Battle Buddy Response Team helps provide veterans the care they need. Our Compassionate Care Team ensures that our veterans and their family get the care and resources they need to adapt and succeed.
When a veteran returns from service and doesn’t know which way to turn, Battle Buddy Response Team is there to provide guidance and a helping hand. Veterans need to know they have a support structure backed up with people who are prepared, experienced, and ready to help.
When someone leaves leave the military, the military does not necessarily leave them. Through compassion, understanding, and support, Battle Buddy Response Team helps veterans and their families move forward and start the next chapter of their lives.
We don’t want to leave anyone behind or lose one more person to suicide.
Veterans have served our country.
Our Vision is to “Stop and Prevent All Veteran Suicide”.
