Battle Buddy Response Team® Marks 6 Years of Service – Over 100 Calls Answered Since April 25th

Since celebrating our 6th anniversary on April 25, 2025, the Battle Buddy Response Team® (BBRT) has responded to over 100 calls for help—each one representing a life touched, a family supported, and a veteran reminded that they are not alone.
In just the past few weeks, our dedicated team of volunteers has:
- Purchased a brand-new travel trailer for a veteran and their children fleeing domestic violence
- Supplied a new washer and dryer to a struggling veteran family
- Visited and comforted a hospitalized veteran in crisis
- Reconnected active military personnel with loved ones during an emergency
- Helped over 100 veterans nationwide, from Hawaii to Massachusetts, Texas to Florida, California, and many states in between
Our work continues to prove one thing: this organization is needed.
But to serve at the level our veterans deserve, we need to grow. BBRT is currently a volunteer-run organization—and while our hearts are full, our resources are limited. To expand our impact, we are actively seeking $25 million in grants to become fully operational in all 50 states with paid, full-time staff.
Our vision is clear: a fully staffed national response network that can intervene before another veteran is lost to suicide. Every call answered matters. Every veteran served is a life changed.
